NAME COUNCIL/ ORGANISATIONS BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF CASE STUDY
Chimbindi Tariro Stephen Manyame RDC The council is engaging in a goat and garden project as well as borehole drilling. Mainly represented by women it is mainly targeted at ensuring that the lives of the community are economically enriched.
Patricia Mwale Victoria Falls Municipality Has initiated internal savings and lending skills (ISALS) clubs and community development projects for economically disadvantaged men, women & youths.
Bichard Chitumba Ruwa Town Council Formed a ward development Committee which is engaging in projects such as vegetable   vending ,corner shops ,car park and flea market to empower people in his ward.
Jean Nyirongo Mazowe Rural District Council Council has embarked on a flea market programme for the Glendale community benefitting unemployed women, men & youths.
Diana Tsuro Zvimba Rural District Council Council in partnership with NGOs and other partners has embarked on a Low- Input Garden project for community members. Project is mostly undertaken by women.
Charity Bango Harare City Council Has persuaded women in her ward to register short courses in bee-making projects, fish farming & farming in general
Norea Manyika Mazowe Rural District Council Embarks on a goat project where she donates 3 goats (1 male & 3 female) to individuals/groups who need to economically want to empower themselves. After 3 years they return the goats while they take ownership of the any offspring that was sired during the period.
Tapiwa Marerwa Gweru City Council Council has embarked on a poverty reduction & LED project by providing skills, work space, employment opportunities, tools/equipment to marginalised groups for the production of goods & services
Joyce Phiri Mazowe Rural District Council The council in the Christon Bank area is employing unemployed youths, women for Road Maintenance progs, leading to a reduction in poverty & criminal activity including prostitution.
Sibongile Mujuruki Karoi Town Council Creating formal vending stalls for community members as well as involving the beneficiaries in the construction of   the stalls
Lovemore Malianga Harare City Council Attracting cooperate support inorder to employ female social workers at community centres
Annette Breda Masvingo City Council Council embarked on a programme to construct market stalls for vendors
Irene Chakwizira Chitungwiza Municipality Empowering people through developing small projects
