Luderitz is situated approximately 340kms from Keetmanshoop and 650kms south-west of Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. The town can easily be reached via a well maintained tarred road or by daily flights.

The town has a very rich history. This is evident from the number of visitors who flock to the town annually. The town’s rich history and location is considered the backbone of a booming tourism sector. A very import piece of history is that the first Standard bank in Namibia was established in Luderitz in 1915.
