Gender Links has established media Centres of Excellence (COEs) for gender mainstreaming in the media in Malawi and other SADC Countries. The COE approach builds on experience gained over several years of working with media houses on developing and implementing gender policies and action plans through a six stage process. The main focus of this process is on the job support and impact assessment leading up to the 5th and 6th Gender and Media (GEM) summits in 2012 and 2014.
