 Police in Tutume are investigating a case in which a man is alleged to have killed his girlfriend by cutting her throat with a sharp instrument. According to Supt. Vusumusi Jorowe, the badly decomposed body of the lady , 23, from Manyapedza ward, in Matobo, was discovered by a worshipper who had gone to the bush to pray at a hill. The couple had a child together .The incident happened on August 27 last month at Matobo village in the Norht east. The Police investigations linked the murder to the womans boyfriend who has been on the run from police since the incident happened .Jorowe said the deceased also had multiple stab wounds on her stomach and back.
