Women are still absent from top decision-making positions in Botswana. Speaking during a one-day workshop on Glass Ceiling in Botswana newsrooms, Director in the Botswana Telecommunications Authority, Mr Oshinka Tsiang said it is very sad that women are part of the community, have greater roles to play and yet women journalists still lag behind in terms of covering hard beat news or holding editorial or managerial posts.
