A Ha- Makhoathi man accused of attempting to rape two teenagers at different times said in his defence one of the victims was his girlfriend. Mokete Makatisa, 25, denied ever trying to rape the 18-year-old girl also from Ha- Makhoathi, on June 26 last year. He told the court on Tuesday the girl was his girlfriend, adding she had agreed to meet him the day before.
