Maseru: A 42 old man suspected to be a mental patient is luckily to be alive after TY resident severely assaulted him for allegedly attempting to rape a 16 old school girl on Monday this week. According to the police the man was rushed to a nearby clinic and later admitted at the Berea hospital and where his condition is reported to be critical. Police spokesperson, senior inspector Masupha Masupha on Wednesday this week said investigation had so far revealed the girl had met the man while returning from school. The man chased the girl until he caught up with her and attempted to sexually abuse her, but she managed to escaped.Masupha said.
