Mozambique: Homosexuality and abortion decriminalised

In a progressive move towards equality, Mozambique has decriminalised homosexuality and abortion after the new Penal code passed in December came into force yesterday. In neighbouring South Africa, laws concerning Lesbian, Gay Bisexual Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) rights and sexual reproductive health are very progressive, yet in reality, these laws remain bound to paper. Will the same apply to Mozambique?
