A 32-year-old Maseru man was this week sentenced to one year in jail after he was convicted of raping a 33-year -old woman whom he accused of watching him while he was urinated. The court gave him an option to pay a M500 fine but he failed to raise the money resulting in him being jailed. Police spokesperson Senior Inspector Masupha Masupha said the man woman was coming from shops at around 5 sometime in April when she passed the man who was peeing.
