Savanna is one of the oldest newspapers in Mozambique. Savana is owned and published by Mediacoop a private company owned by a group of journalists who once served the government media prior to the adoption of the new Constitution of 1990. Mediacoop, also produces the online daily newspaper Mediafax. Savana is published on Fridays. Savana is mainly distributed in Maputo, but covers news from the entire country.
