Description of the article: The non governmental organisation said they would lobby the President to sign the protocol failure to which members of the NGOs would toyi-toyi in protest.

Botswana  and Maurititius have not yet signed yet signed the   SADC Protocol  on Gender and Development which has long been signed by other countries in 2008.

“Although Botswana has not signed the protocol, most of what our govenment has been implementing even before it was concluded,” said Charles Tibone, Assistant Minister of Finance.
