Uhuru Publications Limited (UPL) is a publishing house with different publications under its belt. It is owned by the ruling party, CCM. Uhuru Publications Limited publishes Uhuru a daily newspaper and Burudani and Mzalendo which are weekly papers. The company is based in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania.Uhuru is the oldest paper in Tanzania having been established at independence December, 1961. This media house also initiated the start of Radio Uhuru. |
