Victoria Falls is situated in the Matabeleland North province. It is one of the tourist attraction centres in Zimbabwe which is considered one of the seven wonders of the world (The mighty Victoria Falls). The council has 10 councillors, (8 males and 2 females).  The council offers a variety of services which you can find on their website here.

The council is a spoke council in the hub and spoke programme for gender mainstreaming in local government. The council is mentored by Bulawayo City Council. The council carries out regular disinfection of COVID19 in the town. The council attended their first summit post the SDG agenda in 2020.
