Regional Making Care Work Count: A Policy Analysis 2009

In 2009, GEMSA undertook an audit of 12 country policies on care work represented in the SADC region as a follow-up to an advocacy campaign that resulted in provisions for the “appropriate recognition” of care work by SADC governments.

This report is a summary of the results obtained from this regional study.
