Our programme work yields rich sources of knowledge about social change. We are learning to step back, listen, and reflect. On a day to day basis we gather testimonial evidence – the Changing Lives series; Women and Men in Politics and the Media Making a Difference; and the Protocol@work.
A part time knowledge manager helps us gather and analyse qualitative evidence in the field. Read the Most significant Change Case Study from Mauritius, From Zero to Hero: Women in local government in Mauritius, We have produced an analytical paper on what these accounts tell us. We have produced analytical papers based on the verification on the media and governance COE’s. Some major projects, like the Business Unusual – gender and the economy media training – have resulted in summative books. GL is training programme and country managers to engage with the findings and build these back into programme design.
