Serial rapist on the loose-The Midweek Sun

A serial rapist with a penchant for older women is on the rampage in Maruswe settlement .The unkown assailant has to date attacked and raped four women aged between 52 and 87 years.

Maruswe is a settlement situated between Molapowabojang and Digawana.In the latest incident he attacked and raped 87 year old granny. The incident occured on April 24th.It is alleged that the assailant starts by attacking the victim, strngling her and then raping her while she is unconscious.

Acoording  to Lobatese Police Station Commander, Supt Paul Molapisi the other three cases occured in 2010. He says that investigations are continuing in the matter and disclosed that they have  reasons to believe that the suspect is the same assailant.” We have recorded four cases within the vicinity of Maruswe where elders are being attacked.W suspect that we are dealing with the same person,”he disclosed.
