Description : A domestic dispute between female Special Constable and her lover left her in a critical condition after the 22 year old lass was stabbed eight times with a knife. Mpilo Siviya of Area S location in Francistown is fighting for dear life at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospitals Intensive Care Unit.At the time when the country was observing 16 days of activism against gender based violence on women and children , Thatayaone Goleletswe Koma, 26, apeared before a magistrate facing a single count of causing grievious bodily harm. Prosecution alleges that on November 29, 2011 at Area S location Koma attacked his girlfriend with a sharp object. The incident happened at 9 am when Koma had visited Siviya, the mother to his three year old baby girl. State prosecutor, Inspector Isaac Bojang said the suspect enquired as to whee the victim was heading to upon meeting her at the gate on her way out.
