“Making Every Voice Count” is a 55 minute documentary based on the Gender and Media Baseline Study that involved monitoring the media from a gender perspective in 12 Southern African countries in September 2002.This video is a graphic account of the findings of the study, peppered with examples, the views and voices of those who create and consume the news. The video is also about the growing gender and media movement in the region: organisations, individuals and practitioners who are determined to bring greater gender balance and sensitivity to the news.
