The Act covers the recruitment, transportation, accommodation or reception of persons, the threat of recourse or the use of force or other forms of abduction, fraud, deception, abuse of authority or a situation of vulnerability, or the offer or acceptance of payments or benefits to obtain the consent of a person having authority over another for the purpose of exploitation. It also includes the sexual exploitation of children.
