TITTLE: Dar attains school enrollment target
It has known as that, Tanzania is among seven countries in Sub-Saharan Africa that have achieved universal primary enrollment, according to the just released Global Monitoring Report of 2015.
The permanent secretary in the Ministry of Education, Prof. Sifuni Mchome, speaking to the ‘Daily News’ admitted to have read the report that affirms the government’s struggle to improve education despite the challenges that the country faces.
However The government has welcomed the achievement, stressing and that the target is to reach 100 per cent enrollment and improve the quality of education countrywide.
