The CSW Beijing Plus Fifteen review conference was held from 1-8 March 2010 in New York. Gender Links, the Gender and Media Diversity Centre (GMDC), the Gender, Media Southern Africa (GEMSA) Network and the African Woman and Child Feature Service (AWC) sought to bring the voices of women not able to attend the CSW, especially from Africa, to the conference. A team of journalists, mostly women from Africa, produced five issues of an English and French newspaper (with a Spanish contributions) on 2-5 and 8 March. Watch this space for your daily news. Over the years, GL has produced over 30 books, research reports and training manuals, a photo library with over 3000 images; numerous press releases, fact sheets and media resources. GL works in four thematic programmes which include Gender and the Media; Gender and Governance, Gender Justice and the Southern Africa Gender Protocol Alliance.
