Gender Links is engaging South Africa media houses in the Centres of Excellence (COE) for Gender in the Media project. It is working with community media spread across the Limpopo province of South Africa. The focus of this process to develop and implement gender policies and action plans and on-the-job training and support and impact assessment leading up to the summits. In 2014, GL conducted a media monitoring exercise in the media COEs it is working with in Limpopo province. South Africa stands at 23%.
