Zambia has undertaken a year-long process of identifying gender gaps; aligning its policy and action plan to the SADC Gender Protocol with the support of the SADC Gender Unit, GIZ, and technical assistance from Gender Links. This included an initial working meeting with the ministry, inception meeting with Gender Focal Persons, key planning and costing meeting, follow up and backstopping with line ministries. The final draft costed action plan is ready to be launched.
