30 – 31 March 2012, Botswana
The Botswana Association of Local Authorities (BALA) and Gender Links (GL) hosted the first in-country Gender Justice and Local Government Summit and Awards in Botswana on the 30-31st of March 2012, in Gaborone. The summit was initiated after 2 years of successful participation of Botswana in the Regional Gender Justice and Local Government Summit and Awards, held in 2010 and 2011 in Johannesburg South Africa.
