Gender Links (GL) held the in country Gender Justice and Local Government Summit and Awards at the Centre de Conferences Internationales d â € ™Ivato (CCI), Antananarivo, Madagascar from 12th to 14th March 2012.
- Submissions came from a wide range of people including 32 local councils. 240 entries were received, shortlisted to 166, of which 109 were women and 57 men. Twelve winners received the audience ovations for their good practices to fight Gender Based Violence at community level.
