The Eswatini #VoiceandChoice Summit ended on a high note with the launch of the Women in Local Economic Development (WLED) Gwacatela Ntsika network.
The British High Commissioner His Excellency John Lindfield officially launched the WLED network at the Summit which was opened by the Minister of Housing and Urban Development (MHUD) Honourable Prince Simelane.
Lindfield noted that, he was happy to learn of the great strides Eswatini has made towards achieving the goals of the Jo Cox Foundation. “Earlier this month, we witnessed the launch of the Women in Local Government Forum (WLGF) and the Young Women in Local Government (YWLG) networks. Today, we are here to launch the third network – the Women in Local Economic Development (WLED). These networks are part of a broader programme funded by the Jo Cox Foundation.”
