This is the 15th edition of the SADC Gender Protocol Barometer and the sixth to focus specifically on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). The Barometer is being launched chapter by chapter during the Sixteen Days of Activism 2024 against the background of a massive rise in backlash and strengthening of the anti-gender rights movement following the US elections. Now more than ever we need to protect the fragile gains made for women’s rights.
