Tracking signing and ratification of the SADC Gender Protocol
The Southern Africa Gender Protocol Alliance continues to track SADC countries that have signed and ratified the SADC Protocol on Gender and Development. To date nine out of 13 countries that have signed the SADC Gender Protocol ratified. Technically the Protocol is now in full force since nine countries have ratified though the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa still need to deposit their instruments of ratification with the SADC Secretariat.
