Design Layout and Distribution Officer

Gender Links, a dynamic Southern African NGO headquartered in Johannesburg that promotes gender justice and equality seeks to fill the post of Design and Distribution Officer.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and design high quality publications and digital designs.
• Managing materials production from design to printing.
• Distribution of all materials produced.
• Website graphics and design.
• Proof read final written texts before these go to print.
• Store and catalogue existing design resources.
• Manage the physical and electronic storage.

Qualifications, experience and skills:

• A degree in Graphic Design, Gender and Development studies or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a graphic design environment.
• Creativity and capacity to easily design and visualise data in a user friendly and interesting ways.
• Multimedia experience with infographic design an added advantage.
• Excellent proof reading and presentation skills.
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge to use these tools to disseminate information.
• A valid drivers’ licence.
