GBV Indicators Project

The past month has seen the completion of the data analysis phase of the GBV Indicators Project Survey component. We have also commenced the compilation of a final research report.

On 24 November 2010, preliminary findings on the extent of violence against women in Gauteng were launched in a forum with various stakeholders. Other findings from the study will be communicated as Fact Sheets on the GL website. See them here Stakeholder engagement for other components, such as political discourse, has been scheduled during this year’s 16 Days campaign. The final comprehensive report of all the study findings will be launched in March 2011 during the GL Gender Justice and Governance Summit.
