Through DFID PPA funding GL contributes to the attainment of the SADC Gender Protocol targets and their post-2015 review. The unique sub-regional instrument that brings together global and continental commitments to gender equality and enhances them through specific targets and timeframes is the overarching framework for GL’s Alliance, Media, Governance and Justice Programmes.
