Gender Links, a dynamic Southern African NGO based in Johannesburg, specialising in gender, governance, justice and the media seeks to fill the post of receptionist for its head office in Johannesburg.

Tasks: Managing phone calls, messages and office supplies; liaising with service providers; filing and administrative tasks; liaising with creditors, basic book keeping and clerical functions; managing and updating a database of contacts.

Skills: Suitable tertiary qualifications related to this work; at least five years experience as a receptionist. A background working in the NGO sector and specifically in gender-related work, as well as strong IT skills, will be an advantage.

The post is for an initial two year period based at GL’s head office in Johannesburg. A competitive remuneration package will be offered, commensurate with skills and experience.
