Zimbabwe Strategy concept paper

This concept note concerns the cascading and strengthening at country level of pioneering work on Centres of Excellence (COEÀŸs) on Gender Mainstreaming for Local Government carried out by Gender Links (GL) in partnership with Zimbabwe Local Government Association(ZILGA) the umbrella body covering Urban Councils Association of Zimbabwe (UCAZ and the Association of Rural District Councils of Zimbabwe( ARDCZ). The programme forms part of a broader regional strategy involving ten SADC countries, where 100 Councils have subscribed to the COE model.
